BCC Rotary President's Letter

Dear Neighbor,

We are proud to be the “Rotary Club that built Bethesda”.  Over our 83 years, our membership has included Bethesda’s business and professional leaders.  And we are looking for the leaders of tomorrow to join us.

Rotary promotes strong ethics, fellowship, leadership, and community service. We are professional women and men who want to make a difference. There are no funny hats or secret handshakes. Rotary is a worldwide agent for change – working with the UN to end Polio and working locally to better our community.

Our full calendar of community projects range from the annual Turkey Chase race – which last year raised more than $225,000 for local charities – to hands-on projects such as our Holiday Shopping Spree for local children in need.
Rotary is also about creating life-long friendships. Our weekly lunch meetings offer compelling speakers on a wide range of topics. Throughout the year, our social calendar includes a Crab Feast, Golf outings, a Holiday Party, Happy Hours, overseas trips, and many other social opportunities.

If you are ready to get to know your community better and make a difference - consider Rotary.
I look forward to meeting you at the Rotary Club of Bethesda-Chevy Chase!

Yours in Service,

Ken Hartman
