Cinco de MayoThon Street Festival in downtown Bethesda!
The event is hosted by the B-CC Rotary Club along with the Mexican Embassy, the event, a celebration of Mexican culture, will take place April 27th in downtown Bethesda, Maryland. Kicking off with an irreverent “Micro-Marathon,” racers will compete to raise money and win prizes with just 50 strides to greatness! The Race, which features all the trappings of a major road race in just 164 feet, leads into a large-scale street festival. Spanning two city blocks the Cinco de MayoThon Festival is cultural food and fun for all ages. The Festival includes:
A Cerveza Tequila Garden
Performers and Artists (On a stage and roaming the crowd)
The Piñata Pit (a family friendly zone with face painters, build a Piñata…)
Contests (Best Taco, Jalapeño Eating…)
Activities (Cornhole, Selfie Walls…)
Raffles and Prizes (Including a trip to Mexico!)
Registered participants get to run in the race of a lifetime. From balloon arch to balloon arch and every water station in between, runners will be pushed to their physical limits for 0.05 km, 164 feet. Start training now for your 50 strides to glory! Registered runners receive:
