Cinco de MayoThon is a .05km Micro-Marathon street festival on May 5, 2018, in Bethesda, MD. The .05km Micro Marathon has all the trappings of a major street race. It leads into a Mexican street festival complete with food stands, live music, a beer & tequila garden, a family friendly zone with games and crafts, restaurant contests, and a chance to win huge prizes! Race: Registered participants get to run in the race of a lifetime. From balloon arch to balloon arch and every water station in between, runners will be pushed to their physical limits for 0.05 km, 164 feet. Start training now for your 50 strides to glory!
Festival: Spanning two city blocks the Cinco de MayoThon Festival is cultural food and fun for all ages. The Festival includes Food Vendors, Cerveza & Tequila Garden, Performers and Artists, Sponsor Tents, Piñata Pit (a family friendly zone), Contests for Best Taco and Jalapeño Eating, Activities (Cornhole, Selfie Walls), Raffles and Prizes Including a trip to Mexico.
Charity: JUCONI is an award-winning charity dedicated to serving at-risk children and their families. The organization, which has been recognized by UNICEF for “Best Practices”, strives to use education and personalized therapies to end the cycle of poverty and violence. All proceeds from the event flow through the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rotary Club Foundation, which also supports numerous other local and international organizations.
3-3-18 Join other Rotarians and World Bank staff for a morning of discussion, education and inspiration as we celebrate international Women's Day. The session will highlight the stories of everyday women who, through their humanitarian work, have helped change the world- and the role of women in society today.

B-CC Rotary Club members and their families gather each holiday season to help 35 - 45 children from underprivileged families in Montgomery County. The Children's Shopping Spree begins at Sears, Montgomery Mall, where Club members assist the children in shopping for necessities; like clothes, coats, gloves, hats, and shoes. Afterwards the children are treated to a bowling/pizza party at Kenwood Golf and County Club.
11/23/17 Join in the tradition that has been celebrated in Bethesda, MD for over three decades, with participants from Bethesda, surrounding communities, nearby states, and even military bases overseas. Turkey Chase is the largest fundraiser for the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rotary Club and the YMCA, two of Montgomery County's most notable organizations. Over $4.9 million has been raised since the race's inception to improve the lives of thousands of at-risk children and families in our community. B-CC Club members and their families showed up to plant 50 trees at Bretton Woods Recreation Center on Saturday, November 18th. The Plant A Tree project is one of District Governor Greg Wims' initiatives, following Rotary International Presidents Ian H.S Risely's theme of "Rotary: Making a Difference".

Volunteer opportunities: cleaning and organizing certain areas in the storage facility, sorting donations of furniture and household goods, helping families select and load furniture onto trucks to take to their homes.
Bring your special Valentine, a friend, or co-worker for a health lunch at our club's annual Valentine's Day meeting. Our featured guest speaker will be Dr. Edward Healy, Cardiologist at Suburban Hospital, who will be talking about "Getting to the Heart of the Matter: The US Health Care Crisis!".

Parking available of of Oxford Road in the main large parking lot. The lot on MacArthur Blvd is permit only but has handicap spots for those with handicap tags. From main parking lot walk over bridge, past carousel and you will see the Arcade Bldg which has POPCORN and Arcade on the front. There is a handicap access ramp on the side of the building and and elevator inside to take you to the 2nd floor classrooms where we will be meeting.
